We are Independent Financial Advisers - IFAs. Ray Galbally founded the business in 2001.
We are members of a network of advisers, called In Partnership, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We act as Independent Financial Advisers and this status brings with it a duty of care to act in the best interests of our clients. We are not agents for selling insurance company or bank products, nor are we tied to any particular company. Our first goal is to understand your needs, we then consider your existing provisions and if appropriate, we then seek to recommend retail investment products from the whole of market.
Decisions about your financial future are amongst the most important you will ever make. We are fully aware that you can obtain instant information from Google (other search engines are available) and there are now low cost on-line solutions driven by computers - "robo advisers" - providing relatively simple one-size-fits-all solutions. However, we don't believe that Google or a robot can really get to know you and your needs and ultimately, we believe value for money is more important than simply seeking low cost. Our experience is that you normally get what you pay for.

Our own ongoing advice charge is between 0.5% p.a. (£50 for every £10,000 invested) and 0.75% p.a. (£75 for every £10,000 invested) of your investment value. In addition, there will be other ongoing charges as you will need a home for your money (e.g. a pension provider or investment platform) with a typical charge in the region of 0.3% p.a. (£30 for every £10,000 invested). You will want to try make your money grow, so you will need to invest it. The funds will have a typical charge in the region of 0.75% p.a. (£75 for every £10,000 invested). One of our main aims is of course to try and help you make more than the charges you are paying out, but this cannot be guaranteed as investments go down as well as up and you may get back less than you put in - there's your first two Risk Warnings and there's plenty more where these came from!

There are four registered and authorised advisers in the firm, so you can be confident your affairs are in capable, well qualified and experienced hands. Our clients really appreciate the benefits of a close working relationship with a relatively small team.
We work closely with our clients and our business is generated by word of mouth. We also work with other professional advisers such as accountants, solicitors, insurance brokers and stockbrokers and are able to offer introductions to them if required.
Each client is different, so we offer different levels of service and you can choose to have as much or as little involvement as you desire.
